We've just completed an extensive renovation with Metropolitan. Dominick and Karen are a wonderfully creative team and provide so many important details that make the completed project exceptional. The craftsmen who work with them on the projects are extremely talented, work in a timely fashion and and are very respectful of the work space, by protecting your home and cleaning the work area each day. This was very important since we lived in the home during the renovation. Excellent, excellent work! I absolutely recommend Metropolitan without hesitation.

When you renovate in an older house, you never know what you will find once you tear out the existing fixtures. We did a complete kitchen makeover and we did encounter some unexpected challenges, all of which were conquered by creativity and know-how. Gene Fields came up with good ideas for appliance placement, as well as aesthetic features I would never have considered. He was knowledgeable, available, and easy to work with. The work crews were skilled, polite, and neat. The final result was a beautiful kitchen that is a joy to work in.

For years we envisioned a new kitchen to complement the open environment of our home and provide ample work space and flow needed for everyday use and entertaining. Two friends independently suggested Metropolitan Kitchen & Bath, who brought years of experience and genuine interest in our vision. Following a comprehensive detailed design phase our dream kitchen was "on paper." Demolition began in July 2011 and we were "functional" by Labor Day. The craftsmanship is stunning and the before & after photos require no explanation. We've yet to host a guest who is not awed by the finished product.

We absolutely love Metropolitan Builders. The design staff is creative and tasteful, but never forgets that it is our house and not theirs. The workers are skilled, friendly, and responsible. The owner takes a personal interest in every job and is a frequent visitor on site. They clean up at the end of every day without fail, so that the house remains livable during the project. We had our kitchen completely gutted, including the removal of a wall. They finished the job on time and we could not be happier with the results. A project of this magnitude is disruptive at best but Metropolitan's professionalism and empathy kept the disruption to a minimum. We recommend them unconditionally.
